Sunday Mornings

Sunday School

Sunday School classes begin at 9:00am. We offer nursery care for children from birth - 3 years old. Nursery care is available for Sunday School and the main church service.


Children in Pre-K through 5th grade are split in classrooms by grade and participate in a Bible lesson from the FaithWeaver Now (Pre-K) and D6 (K-5th grade) curriculum. 


Childrens Church

After Sunday School children in Kindergarten - 5th grade participate in Childrens Church in the Youth Building during the main church service. Each week the children participate in games, a Bible lesson, scripture memorization, object lessons, and prayer time. We use Grow curriculum and are on a series titled "Did You Know?" for Easter.


Safety

Safety is very important at HFC. We ask that you walk your child into the building, check them in on the kiosk, and walk them to class. Upon check in at the kiosk, you will be provided a code printed on a sticker. You will need to present this to your child's teacher before they will be released.


All volunteers in the Childrens Ministry participate in routine background checks.

Awana

AWANA = Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed


During the school year HFC participates in the AWANA program designed for kids 3 years old through 5th grade on Wednesday nights starting at 6:00pm.


AWANA at HFC begins in the sanctuary with the children learning to praise and worship the Lord with enthusiastic expression and ending worship time in prayer.


After worship students are lead to their classroom by their adult leaders. Classrooms are split as follows:

Cubbies - 3 years old to Pre K

Sparks Kindergarten

Sparks 1st grade

Sparks 2nd grade

T&T 3rd grade

T&T 4th grade

T&T 5th grade


All classrooms participate in rotations which include meal time, game time, and classroom time. During classroom time students are taught about Jesus through scripture memorization and other lessons. All of our adult workers have a deep commitment to showing Jesus to every kid that comes through our doors.

HFC KIds summer break

During summertime, our students enjoy an incredibly fun kid's program. The overall model is similar to AWANA. We begin with worship and then have a lesson, game time, and a meal is provided each week.


The curriculum from summer 2022 took the students through the beatitudes with the fun theme of Surf's Up!
